After seven days it is no longer a coincidence if the two B teams without victories are Catanzaro and La Spezia, that is, the last of the class and one of the two (the other is Samp) who has failed to pierce the fragile Giallorossi defense. The results are better framed in hindsight and now you can draw a first budget: we are still not there and the reproach of the ultras to the players at the end of the race (“We are always with you, but you see what you have to do”) can be there. The main problem concerns the defensive system, not only and not so much for individual faults: losing the duels against stronger players like those of Monza is possible, but catching two goals in the small area with the team lined up in a low block is not admissible and denotes unpreparedness.
The impression is that the blanket always remains short: first the problem of transitions suffered too easily, then the nerves discovered in the house of one of the theoretically stronger formations of B. Al Monza dragged by the qualities of the individual Aquilani, in the second half, did not know how to remedy. Another aspect that leaves perplexed: if Catanzaro is careful not to unbalance himself, as against Spezia and Sampdoria, he does not even know how to mark, given that those were also the games in which the attack has remained dry. The technician still has a little margin to recover and raise the team. Last season, with Caserta in the eye of the cyclone, the company had held the bar straight against part of the fans: in the end she was right helped by the pragmatism of the Calabrian coach, which during the second stop in the championship – exactly in this period – saw her ideas changing the structure to find, together, balance and growth, individual and collective.
