The Board of Directors of the Politeama Foundation has formalized the appointment of the figures who will fill the roles of General Director and Superintendent. Having received and analyzed the requests for participation with reference to the relative expressions of interest, the final choice fell, respectively, on the profiles of Settimio Pisano and Antonietta Santacroce.
The first has been working in the field of theater and performing arts for twenty-five years. With the Scena Verticale company and the Primavera dei Teatri festival he has developed projects at a national and international level, in 2019 he received the UBU Award as best Italian curator/organizer.
Antonietta Santacroce, pianist and harpsichordist, concert pianist, cultural manager, has been the creator and artistic director of the Autumn Festival since 2003 and has also held the role of artistic director of the Politeama.
With regard to the further public notice for the appointment of members of the Board of Auditors, following the procedure, the following were designated: Domenico Apa, Massimo Di Marco and Vincenzo Iacovino.
“While extending our sincere good luck and best wishes for the new management of the Politeama, at the same time we would like to sincerely thank the outgoing General Manager and Superintendent, Aldo Costa and Gianvito Casadonte, for the fruitful work carried out in recent years”, underlines the Mayor and President of the Foundation, Nicholas Flowery, together with all the members of the Board of Directors. “Thanks to the commitment shown until the end, the Teatro Politeama has managed to guarantee continuous programming even in the most difficult moments and to face the management criticalities that have arisen with an effective and careful organization. A precious legacy that Pisano and Santacroce are about to collect with the desire to contribute, with enthusiasm and creativity, to the realization of a further step forward. Let us therefore start again from a consolidated path – which has seen the Politeama carve out, in its twenty-year history, a leading role among Italian public theaters – to continue to write important pages for the cultural and social growth of Catanzaro and the whole of Calabria”.
