Fear this morning on Viale Europa, in Catanzaro, where a road accident involved two cars, a Fiat Panda and a Hyundai Tucson. Following the violent impact, the Hyundai overturned sideways onto the road.
The firefighters of the Catanzaro provincial command – headquarters intervened on site and ensured the safety of the vehicles and the area to avoid further risks and guarantee the restoration of normal traffic conditions.
The driver of the Fiat Panda was injured in the collision and was rescued by the medical staff of SUEM 118, who after initial treatment on site arranged for him to be transferred to hospital for checks. Local police officers were also present to investigate the case and manage traffic, together with roadside assistance for the removal of vehicles and the staff of the company responsible for restoring the roadway.
