Filming of the TV movie is underway in Calabria Cupid’s Voice directed by Ago Panini, who features in the cast Chiara Francini, Giorgio Marchesi and Michele Rosiello. The film – written by Maria Sole Limodio and Pietro Seghetti, and produced by Pepito Produzioni in collaboration with Rai Fiction – will be shot in the province of Cosenza between Rende, Taverna, Zumpano, Castrolibero and San Pietro in Guarano, and will be broadcast soon on Rai1 , for the Purché Finisca Bene series. Cupid’s Voice is the story of Paola, a professional truck driver who is about to win an important national race a few days before New Year’s Eve. Paola has a strong character, at times rough and outspoken, and persists in treating Carlo, a polite NCC driver, with sarcasm.

But there is a sensitive soul hidden within her: while driving she always listens to the podcast La Voce di Cupido, hosted by Lucio whose voice she fell in love with. One morning, Paola has an accident and, by a twist of fate, with Lucio. Thus begins a hilarious journey between Paola, Carlo and Lucio, a lopsided triangle, in search of a piece to repair Paola’s truck and above all to recompose the pieces of her heart.
