There is an atmosphere of magic at the Off/Off theater in Via Giulia. Italian excellence between fiction and the big screen is on stage. «Ciak si gira…Cinema», an evocative concert-show featuring author soundtracks, the most iconic musical pages of international cinema together with many unforgettable songs. On stage an extraordinary Alma Manera, a very talented artist, who with her voice ranges between different characters in a sensorial journey made of words, images and music, accompanied by the notes of great myths: from Ennio Morricone, who revolutionized soundtracks, creating masterpieces such as «Once Upon a Time in America» and «Nuovo Cinema Paradiso», to Nino Rota, who combined sound and image in Fellini’s films, from «White Sheik» to «Amarcord», to immense communicative ability of Charlie Chaplin, up to Nicola Piovani, Oscar winner for «Life is beautiful».
Alongside Alma Manera, on stage, the other protagonist Beppe Convertini, who manages to give a narrative and theatrical dimension by creating moments of reflection through the story. A multidisciplinary show that evokes artists such as Luis Bacalov, Fabio Fizzi, Maurizio De Angelis, Stelvio Cipriani, Paolo Limiti, and with refined choreographies in a combination of dance and technology designed by Enrico Manera. Coordinating the team of artists and directing the synergy between great classics and new compositions is director Maria Pia Liotta who, for the occasion, also curated the original music.
With her artistic vision the author thus defined the style, the atmosphere, the interpretation of the show by combining music, theater and dance. From this stage setup comes the true involvement of the audience in a sort of collective enchantment, transporting the emotions of the spectators into the scenes. At the center of the melodies, the talented maestro Kozeta Prifti on the piano who conquers everyone with elegance and technical mastery. In this vortex of thoughts and memories, the dancers Egon Polzone and Elisabeth Maria Casuccio twirl, interpreting the music with passion and rigor.
After the carousel of wonderful soundtracks, a crescendo of long applause from the enthusiastic audience. On repeat until tomorrow. The dream continues!
