In recent days, extraordinary maintenance and improvement of safety conditions, as well as conservative recovery, of the “Sciarapotamo bridge” in the municipality of Cinquefrondi have been delivered.
The work, contracted for a total amount of about 220,000 euros to the Viraco Costruzioni SAS company, provides for a time of completion of the works of about 120 days. The management of the works is entrusted to the surveyor Archangel Zangari and the responsibility of the project a Vincenzo Giordano.
Specifically, the works include the reconstruction of the side walls, some of which located in the terminal part of the town of Cinquefrondi, the surface restoration of the road pavement in the most worn areas, the replacement of damaged road barriers, the installation of new barriers where missing and the conservative recovery of the parapets of the Sciaramo bridge.
The Metropolitan Councilor delegated and mayor of Cinquefrondi Michele Conia He expressed great satisfaction for this important work, which has long been anticipated by the entire area. Since his settlement at Palazzo Alvaro, he has constantly followed this intervention carefully.
The Vorsace Versace deputy mayor stressed that this intervention is added “to the list of works that the metropolitan administration, led by the mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà, has created to guarantee the safety of the territory and the roads”. Finally, Versace reiterated that “the road system remains a fundamental element for the metropolitan body and that the administration will continue to support local citizens and administrators, who are increasingly tackling cuts in funding from the central government”.
