A serious road accident occurred on the state road 106 “Jonica”, at km 298,800 in the territory of Cariati, in the province of Cosenza. For reasons still under investigation, A car and a motorcycle collided, causing the injury of two people.
The impact requested the intervention of the helicopter, landed near the place of the accident to transport the wounded to the hospital.
Due to the clash, the circulation was blocked in both directions, causing strong slowdowns and inconveniences for motorists in transit.
