The budget bill establishes a fund to facilitate access to credit for micro and small artisan businesses and enhances the role of Confidi. This is what Cna Calabria asks after analyzing the financial maneuver. A maneuver on which the Confederation of Artisans does not express a rejection but reservations, underlining how micro and small businesses are excluded or disadvantaged by some instruments.
In particular, the Cna highlights that the return of the super depreciation, which replaced the tax credit, will lead to a 40 percent contraction of the artisan businesses that will be able to access it. The opinion on the Single Zes is positive but for the confederation it is a serious mistake to exclude investments of less than 200 thousand euros, a limit that affects micro and small businesses.
The refinancing of Nuova Sabatini was good. However, the opinion on the restriction to the tax compensation system which puts the many small businesses that have accrued credits by investing in innovation or by granting, legitimately, discounts on invoices for building works is negative.
“Micro and small businesses represent almost the entire economic fabric in Calabria. Studying inclusive measures, which enhance them and facilitate their access to credit, means aiming for the growth of the entire territory”, states the president of CNA Calabri Giovanni Cugliari.
“Several times – he continues – we have stigmatized the cumbersomeness of access to credit as well as the excessive bureaucracy: Elements that cut off the legs of those who remain in Calabria and want to grow. Our hope – concludes Cugliari – is that the government will now intervene with an ad hoc measure, such as the fund to facilitate access to credit for micro and small artisan businesses, and that it will enhance the role of the Confidi”.
“We also appeal to Calabrian parliamentarians to take an interest in the restriction of tax compensation with an active and concrete commitment to support the South”.
