The death toll from a road accident that occurred this afternoon on state road 106 in the Crotone area is one dead and one injured. The accident occurred in the municipality of Cutro, near Steccato, and involved two vehicles: a Fiat Panda and a Lancia Y. The driver of the Fiat Panda died, Francesco Elia, 52 years old from Botricelloa currently unemployed worker, who leaves a companion, while the other driver was seriously injured and was extracted from the car by a fire brigade team from the Crotone Command and entrusted to the Suem118 healthcare staff for the necessary treatment and subsequent transfer to Catanzaro hospital. Traffic remained blocked in both directions until the end of the rescue operations.
