A serious accident occurred around 5.30pm in the Santa Lucia district, near the Condofuri Marina cemetery.
According to initial information, a car and a motorbike driven by a 17-year-old boy were involved in the head-on collision. The particularly violent impact had tragic consequences: the young centaur lost his life instantly.
The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation. Rescuers and law enforcement are present on site and carrying out investigations. The investigations will have to establish the causes and possible responsibilities of the accident.
