In recent days the staff of the State Police of the PS police station of Corigliano-Rossano, he performed aApplication order of personal precautionary measure of house arrest against a forty -four year old of the place, seriously suspended of the crime of persecutory acts against his former partner.
The measure comes at the end of a laborious and articulated investigative activity coordinated by the local Public Prosecutor’s Office and started following a complaint/lawsuit prunted from the offended part last December 2, 2024.
In particular, the woman, presented at the offices of the PS’s local police station, told the police operators that they had entertained in the past with the suspect a sentimental relationship that has become unsustainable over time, which was why she decided to interrupt the attendance. However, the woman’s decision was not enough to remove man from his life, that He began to torment her, to stalk it and to swear it everywhere, to storm her with phone calls and messages.
Several episodes told by the woman, also found through the acquisition of the images of the video surveillance systems of the city and the screenshots of the chats, delivered during the complaint.
The investigation activity launched by the staff of the police station and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Castrovillari, directed by the prosecutor Alessandro D’Alessio, found his epilogue on January 17th when the investigating judge of the same court, at the request of the prosecutor owner of the Investigation, issued the application order of the precautionary measure of house arrest towards man.
The activity carried out testifies once again the constant commitment of the men of the State Police in the city and province, directed by the commissioner Giuseppe Cannizzaro and the judicial authority, in facing the phenomenon of gender violence with timely and particular attention.
