“I am following the work that the temporary council commission established by the city council of Corigliano Rossano is carrying out”, says the mayor of Oriolo who relaunches: “I agree with the work of the Commission to recover the old resolutions and other documents produced at the time, but just by browsing through those papers it will emerge that in the past there is the opinion expressed in a single soul by the municipalities of Sibaritide who were in favor of the institution of a new Province. I am convinced that even today the situation has not changed and I believe that the battle will be united, precisely because we feel the need to have our own autonomy”. For Simona Colotta the time has come to rewrite a new political geography, “so that this territory finally has the weight it deserves, its own decision-making autonomy and all those primary and necessary services”.
