Over a thousand fans filled the covered grandstand of the main pitch of the “Real Cosenza” sports centre. A remarkable response offered by the Sila supporters following the decision of the rossoblù club to open its doors to welcome its pack. Many children present, who symbolically embraced their favorites. The most sought after for photos and autographs was Gennaro Tutino, the pride of the transfer market so far. However, a lot of affection was reserved for all the protagonists of last season’s salvation. A very colourful, affectionate and at times “booming” welcome, with various choirs sung by the most heated fringe of cheering and beyond.
At the end of training, then, the group led by coach Fabio Caserta stopped to listen to the supporters’ invitation to “honor the shirt”, as they did in the recent past. On the sideline, also present to watch the training Armando Perna, right arm of Roberto Gemmi, the head of the youth sector Sergio Mezzina and the general secretary Francesco Xausa and obviously the team manager Kevin Marulla. Subsequently, the manager responsible for management Roberta Anania, the administrative director Daniel Inderst, the marketing director Emanuele Del Duca and the secretary of the youth sector Carmine Giordano also peeped out on the edge of the pitch.
On the pitch, Rigione and his teammates played a series of themed matches. As always, great attention has been paid to possession and maneuver initiation. Still differentiated for Florenzi, out Hristov and Sueva, already absent on Tuesday at the restart.
Subscriptions. The season ticket campaign launched last week did not leave part of the Sila fans indifferent. The “Club Coordination Center” of the president Massimiliano Pesce in these hours has intervened on the “expensive tickets” with a statement in which he says he has “turned up his nose” in front of the price increases: “It comes without saying to read the slogan of the season ticket campaign with a bit of bitterness. The reason is the rising costs for each individual sector. We find such an economic increase somewhat disproportionate, also by virtue of the fact that, as a region, we certainly do not belong to the agglomeration of the Arab Emirates. We are rather incredulous, not to say shocked, especially of the treatment reserved for the “Wolf Wolf” category, honestly noting an increase that is not suited to a company that aims to promote love for football from the youngest generations. We ask again for a sacrifice from the rossoblù people. A sacrifice that is certainly not insignificant and which will naturally affect the family budget of all the fans. Therefore, as a Coordination Center, we kindly ask the club for a revision of the planned tariffs, thus favoring the flow of more people to the stadium”.
