Cosenza, another turnaround is looming

Towards the summer we are heading towards another brand new “project”. Guarascio, should he remain at the helm of the club, is preparing yet another turnaround. Cosenza, under his management, found very little continuity. A few years ago, when he still used to allow one presence per year in the press conference, he justified the strong line of discontinuity with the desire of players and staff to change scenery after having lived one or two seasons in the same place. There were many professionals who joined Cosenza and felt this need after a short time. The reason, which is unclear to society, could be influenced by factors such as confusion, lack of ambition, disorganization and approximation.
Buscè will say goodbye after an intense season, experienced with various difficulties and which ended with a round defeat which partly undermined the work done. The continuity of Rome also appears to be in strong question. Cosenza will restart beyond the top of the hill on June 30th with a large number of players under contract but also in this aspect it will be a summer of turmoil. There are no incredible ones, as confirmed by the latest transfer market. Each offer, therefore, will be evaluated by Via Conforti and the possibility of other excellent departures is already feared. Sixteen players have signed up under Buscè and whose contracts will not expire at the end of the season: Vettorel, Pompei, Cimino, Ciotti, Dametto, Rocco, Caporale, Langella, Ba, Palmieri, Contiliano, Florenzi, Contiero, Emmausso, Mazzocchi and Achour. A first turning point in the future of Zilli and Rizzo Pinna will then take place in June. Frosinone will not exercise the right to buy the attacker but is evaluating the possibility of re-discussing the terms of an agreement. Ascoli, however, should return to the charge for the attacking midfielder. The former Virtus Verona midfielder Begheldo will also return from his loan to Triestina and with him, among others, also the left back Barone, born in 2006, returning with Sarnese from the victorious playout against Pompeii.
We would also have to touch on the issue of deadlines. At the moment, D’Orazio, Kourfalidis (acquired two years ago from Cagliari for 250 thousand euros), Garritano, Baez and Beretta are all close to the end of their contractual ties with the Wolves. And then there is Moretti, who with the relegation of Triestina becomes a market object and opportunity.
Before then, meanwhile, today the Sila group begins a new mini cycle of training. Buscè’s team will work at the “Marulla” again tomorrow and the day after. Once the break in ranks has been obtained, the group will meet again in mid-July but as mentioned there are different nebulae around Cosenza.
