With my heart, at the end of an incredible race. Cosenza takes another three points away. After Palermo, the home defeat against Cremonese was put to rest with the success in Pisa.
An illogical match for the Sila team, well in the first half, reached in the final by Aquilani’s team and victorious in the 53rd minute with Mazzocchi. For the Milanese striker another unexpected goal in the final seconds, as had already happened against Sudtirol. Mr. Caserta’s team had taken the lead in the 6th minute of the first half with Voca. Then a great Micai to save the Bruzi goal. In added time in the 49th minute of the second half the Tuscans equalized with Masucci, before Mazzocchi’s goal came in the 53rd minute of the second half. With these 3 points Cosenza erases the home defeat against Cremonese and flies to 11 points in the standings.
Caserta leaves Forte on the bench and presents Marras, Voca and Mazzocchi to support Tutino. Praszelik is the surprise move: the Pole plays next to Calò, in the middle. Cosenza is courageous and in the first minutes attacks Pisa with an advanced center of gravity. The game breaks the deadlock after six minutes because Voca follows with his lights off the action based on Venturi’s long throw and Rispoli’s tip into the heart of the area. Nicolas doesn’t reach the Kosovan’s shot at the far post. The Nerazzurri’s reply is entrusted to Maklar but does not worry Micai (13′). The goalkeeper from Cosenza, however, is timely on Canestrelli’s close-range header (18′). They are the only two concrete threats to the Silan goal. The Caserta team sent shivers down the opposite side with a diagonal shot from Rispoli (34′) and in the 41st minute they remained in numerical superiority thanks to Barbieri’s double yellow. Both fouls on Tutino. Before the break, the Neapolitan hits Nicolas’ post following a suggestion from Voca.
In the second half, Cosenza was a little too timid. Pisa takes courage, tries with Esteves (8′) and Beruatto (17′) but Micai doesn’t let himself be overcome. The rossoblù, after making the substitutions, came forward again in the 28th minute of the second half when Meroni headed too high from Calò’s free kick. A minute later, the Sila point guard goes on his own but almost fails to decode the opponent’s safe. With six to go, however, Forte sends it just wide on another shot from the number 14. Three minutes later, Canestrelli closes in at the last minute on Canotto. Then it’s Nicolas who saves on Rossano. The home team punished the failure to double the lead in injury time. Micai, in the 47th minute, is prodigious on Beruatto but, in the 49th minute, he has to surrender to Masucci, caught by Beruatto. It’s not the last emotion of the match because Mazzocchi resolves the challenge in the ninety-eighth minute by heading Calò’s corner into the net.
