We know the referee of the Coppa Italia derby which will open the season of Mr. Coppietelli’s Cosenza in Crotone on Sunday at 9pm.
Andrea Palmieri from the Brindisi section will direct the match; Massimiliano Miccoli and Giuseppe Francesco A. Magnifico, both from the Bari section, the assistants. The fourth match official will be Alessandro Recchia, from the Brindisi section.
An appointment that will serve to test in the field the work carried out during the preparation and to offer the first indications on the new group. A tender that arrives while the Via Conforti company continues to work on the market to complete its workforce.
The exit front remains particularly busy. Caporale’s departure is scheduled for tomorrow, destined to leave the group to move to Casertana. An operation that should be followed, in the next few hours, by other departures. Massimo Zilli and Riccardo Palmieri are also among the players with their suitcases packed.
At the same time, sporting director Fabio Lucioni continues to move in search of the right profiles to strengthen the team. One of the hottest names is that of Enrico Piovanello, a striker born in 2000, formerly of Crotone, currently at Juve Stabia. Negotiations are underway and the operation could be finalized. A two-year contract would be ready for Piovanello.
Still on the arrivals front, the operation relating to the Romanian defender Razvan Pascalau, born in 2004, is awaiting formalization. A young addition on which the management seems to have focused with conviction.
But Lucioni’s work doesn’t stop here, the rossoblù sporting director continues to work on multiple fronts. Negotiations for Federico Tonin, a young striker born in 2006, are underway with Vicenza, while defender Alessandro Dalmazzi is being discussed with Sambenedettese and always keep an eye out for surprises and some backlash. The trail leading to Moustapha Yabre is less hot. The left winger born in 2002, owned by Perugia, represents one of the alternatives monitored by the management.
In short, the market can still significantly change the personnel and therefore the profile of the team.
Meanwhile, yesterday, the official announcement of a transfer with a bitter aftertaste also arrived. The former Wolves captain Luca Garritano has in fact joined Monopoli. The midfielder, after his experience in the rossoblù and the role of reference held in the locker room, is thus preparing to face as an opponent what until recently was his team. An intersection inevitably destined to arouse particular emotions.
First, however, we need to think about Crotone. The “Scida” awaits the rossoblù and the Italian Cup represents the first official event of the season.
