Cosenza finds success again. Alvini’s team does so against Sampdoria, a team against which they had never won in the previous eleven. The team from Sila played with personality and in light of the victory they rose in the standings. The match against the Blucerchiati confirmed the organization and determination of a team well assembled by Alvini’s coach. Cosenza found the lead in the 8th minute with D’Orazio’s second goal of the season, who on the fly, with his left foot, beat Silvestri on Mazzocchi’s cross extended by Bereszynski. The Ligurians equalized with Ioannou at the beginning of the second half but the Silani reacted with pride by immediately finding the goal with Strizzolo. The Friulian beat Silvestri with the help of the post. From then on, with the exception of a goal disallowed by Coda after the intervention of the VAR (previous offside position by De Paoli), Cosenza practically never suffered, coming close to the third with Sankoh.
