Crotone conquers “Capozza” by beating Casarano 2-1 at the end of an intense match. After a favorable start for the Apulians, dangerous with Grandolfo and Cajazzo, the rossoblù grew but without breaking through: Musso saw a goal canceled out, Energe wasted and Merelli saved. In the second half Longo brought on Veltri in place of the injured Novella, and in the 8th minute Zunno put Crotone ahead. Casarano reacts: Chiricò comes close to equalizing and in the 21st minute Cajazzo scores a great goal. The hosts push again but Perez wastes two great opportunities. At 39′ the decisive episode: defensive error, Bruno recovers the ball and Musso scores the 2-1. In added time Maggio came close to scoring a hat trick. Crotone wins, now certain of sixth place.
