Crotone conquers the “Zaccheria” with an authoritative and brilliant performance, prevailing 0-3 over Foggia and showing solidity, balance and quality in every department. Longo’s team starts off strong: Murano comes close to scoring with a header and hits the post, a prelude to Zunno’s lead in the 22nd minute, masterfully launched by Di Pasquale. The second goal, in the 36th minute, was a pearl from Berra with an overhead kick following an assist from Sandri, which froze the Foggia crowd. In the second half the rossoblù controlled with maturity and found the hat-trick in the 7th minute with a masterpiece from Murano, which surprised Borbei from afar. Despite Vinicius’ expulsion in the 18th minute for a challenge on Garofalo, Crotone remained compact, managed with order and still came close to scoring with Piovanello and Gallo.
