Twenty days to learn about the political future of Vincenzo Voce and also that of the city of Pythagoras. Just over two weeks to know if that network of alliances woven in the shadow of the governor Roberto Occhiuto, between the “civic” Voce and the majority part of Forza Italia which refers to the now elected regional councilor Sergio Ferrari is destined to collapse or be strengthened.
The countdown started yesterday, after the sudden resignation (we also talk about it on page 15) of mayor Vincenzo Voce (who has 20 days to think about it). As the first consequence of the mayor’s step back, the first meeting of the City Council was missed, which among others was supposed to also discuss the disputed public housing project that the Municipality wants to build in Via Israel. And this project was the “casus belli” of the episode that actually caused the mayor’s resignation.
