Vibo, municipal council and provincial elections: Alecci sits at the PD table

It is a mistral wind that is blowing on the center-left and, above all, on the Democratic Party. The regional elections have essentially eliminated the Dem representation of the Vibonese area within Palazzo Campanella. And among the many “fucked” ones, a confrontation opened immediately afterwards that will not be easy to bring back to a point of equilibrium. However, as in the “wordsmith” style of the Democratic Party, meetings follow one another, especially considering the fact that provincial elections are just around the corner. The last comparison, in chronological order, dates back to Monday evening, with a substantial novelty.
The presence, in the Municipal Library, of Ernesto Alecci, now fully included in the Vibo Dems, although still represented in the Chamber by a different council group, that of the Democrats and reformists. Inevitably, the former mayor of Soverato, reconfirmed at Palazzo Campanella, is aiming for a seat in the executive led by mayor Enzo Romeo, well aware that among the names to be indicated to the head of the administration, in two months from now, there cannot be elements coming from the centre-right. Dots over the “i’s” to also be put in view of the election of the new council of the former Enel building, where much will need to be clarified between the exponents of the Democratic Party and the representatives of the so-called “Ionian” component of the party, who remained in support of president Corrado L’Andolina until the end.
