Crotone: “They caused the Akros crash», the two former liquidators investigated

No longer simple bankruptcy but aggravated fraudulent bankruptcy. This is the new accuses that the Crotone prosecutor’s office moves to the two people who must answer the Akros crashthe mixed public-private company that dealt with the separate collection of waste in the province failed on April 26, 2016 for 7,211,480.58 euros of debts.

The trial that saw Barberio as the only defendant was underway on the instability of Akros.

But the Court of Crotone, recognizing a different fact than the contested one, then transferred the documents to the investigating office to re -evaluate the charges. From here the procedure against Barberio and Mingrone with more serious accusations arose. They both charged “malicious operations” that would have led to the bankruptcy of Akros who, in 2005, already recorded losses for 2.3 million euros.
