The sporting season of Kroton Nuoto ends on a high note, with the team achieving great success in open water competitions in the constantly growing Masters sector.
There have been several competitions in which the Pythagorean club has participated in recent months, always at the top of the regional rankings. The icing on the cake is represented by the third place overall in the national field Francesco Garofolo in cross-country, an extraordinary performance for the athlete from Crotone who stood out for his tenacity, commitment and passion. The hard training, first in the Olympic swimming pool and then in the sea in the summer, led to this well-deserved result which does nothing but give even more prestige to the team’s general performance.
Kroton Nuoto, in fact, showed off great performances in open water, placing 58th out of 250 participating companies throughout Italy. Considering that this is the first real year of recovery for the Masters sector, coach Roberto Fantasia can only be satisfied: “It’s true, our athletes have demonstrated first and foremost that they have a great passion and the results are the fruit of their work. This is a sector that continues to grow more and more and we are open to anyone who wants to try their hand at it and compare. As far as we are concerned, we will continue to work, with the aim of raising the bar and improving our results more and more.”
