A team of firefighters from the Catanzaro Command – Lamezia Terme detachment – together with the Fire Inspector Officer Settimio Grilloni, intervened this afternoon in the municipality of Curinga to lay a wreath of flowers at the foot of the statue of Mary Most Holy Immaculate.
In the presence of the Mayor of the municipality Dr. Elia Pallaria and a multitude of faithful, in the churchyard of the church of Maria Santissima Immacolata, the parish priest Don Angelo Cerra he blessed the wreath that the firefighters subsequently placed at the foot of the statue located on the top of the church.
A moment of great participation on the part of the inhabitants of Curinga who, on the occasion of the Marian celebration ceremony, gathered in the square in front of the church to witness the event.
At the end of the function, the Curinga community thanked the firefighters by donating them a painting depicting Mary Most Holy Immaculate.
