The Court of Cassation considered the appeal filed by the Prosecutor General of Catanzaro against Alessandro Curto, 34 years old, originally from Petilia Policastroinvolved in the story linked to the aggression of Davide Ferrerio, the young man from Bologna, reduced to the end of 11 August 2022 in the center of Crotone where he was on vacation and since then in a coma. Curto is the man who sent the message that caused the exchange of person and brought to the aggression of the young Bolognese by Nicolò Passalacqua, already definitively sentenced to 12 years and 8 months for attempted murder. According to the accusatory reconstruction, Alessandro Curto, a girlfriend of a girl at the time of the minor facts, had created a false profile to woo the young woman.
This had irritated the girl of the girl, Anna Perugino, who organized a real trap with the complicity of some relatives and Nicolò Passalacqua, who had a weakness for the young woman. During the meeting, which took place in front of the Palazzo di Giustizia of Crotone, Curto noticed the trap and avoided being recognized by moving away from the area. Shortly afterwards he sent the girl the message: “I have a white shirt”. Davide Ferrerio, who wore a white shirt was transit to the area at that moment, was therefore mistakenly identified as the mysterious suitor and violently attacked by Passalacqua. Curto was investigated immediately after the facts, but his position was stored in all degrees of judgment. The Cassation put an end to the affair, thus confirming the absence of criminal liability for Curto defended by the lawyer Renzo Cavarretta.
