The men of the State Police arrested a man, born in 1985, held responsible for the crime of possession for the purpose of dealing drugs. The intervention was triggered when the Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto police officers noticed a man intent on selling drugs. The subject was immediately stopped and checked. The investigations made it possible to find the narcotic substance both in the possession of the arrested man and in that of the buyer, against whom the expected violation was contested. The operators then extended the investigations to the man’s home, where they found a total of around 300 grams of hashish and 20 grams of ecstasy, as well as a precision scale and around 800 euros in small denomination banknotes, elements considered compatible with a drug dealing activity.
At the end of the formalities, the 41-year-old was taken to prison, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority, awaiting the validation hearing and the immediate hearing.
