The continuous increase, day after day, in the price of diesel is putting the road transport sector under increasing pressure and is hitting Calabrian companies particularly hard.
The alarm was raised by Fedralog (Road Transport and Logistics Federation), which draws the attention of the Government, the Calabria Region and the entire Calabrian political representation to a situation that is becoming unsustainable.
«Every day we see new increases at the pump – writes Mario Pansini of Fedralog in a note – while companies continue to incur increasingly higher costs without having the possibility of immediately transferring them to the client. For a company that consumes thousands of liters of diesel every month, even a few cents of increase quickly turns into thousands of euros of increased costs.”
