“The resources relating to the 2,571 eligible requests have been disbursed, following documentary integration, for a total amount of 1,176,100.00 euros. The Dear School Voucher Notice for the 2023-2024 school year will soon be published.”
This was communicated by the Education Councilor of the Calabria Region, Maria Stefania Caracciolopresenting the latest developments on the implementation of the Dear School Voucher for the 2022-2023 school year, an important measure to support the right to education which aims to reduce social inequalities and combat school dropout in Calabria, supporting families with an ISEE not exceeding 15,748.78 euros.
“It follows – continues the Education Councilor – that, to date, for the 2022-2023 school year, a total of 7,133,200 euros have been disbursed for the benefit of 15,406 students. I remind you that, in the event that the “Io studio” voucher provided by the Ministry of Education and Merit was received, the amount of the dear regional school voucher, equal to 500 euros, was paid as an adjustment of the amount already paid by the aforementioned Ministry. Furthermore, at the same time the preliminary investigation activity was started for the applications for which a further opening of the deadlines until 10 December 2024 was foreseen”.
“We are working – finally underlines councilor Caracciolo – to ensure that no student who meets the requirements set out in the Notice is excluded from this important benefit. Our goal is to support families in difficulty and strengthen the right to education in Calabria.”
The notice that will allow the provision of the dear school voucher for the 2023/2024 school year will also be published shortly. In consideration of the high number of applications expected – presumably over 20 thousand – steps are being taken to implement interoperability procedures with platforms such as INPS, Sidi, PagoPA with the aim of speeding up the preliminary formalities and quickly achieving the provision of the important economic resource.
