Offensive and defamatory flyers against two female employees of the Annunziata hospital. The Strategic Management, the Board of Directors and the entire hospital community firmly condemn what happened, defining the gesture as “cowardly” and “unambiguously”.

The flyers, which appeared in recent days, concern a healthcare worker and an administration employee. For the Company it is “an ignoble act, a form of sexist violence that affects the dignity of all women, not just those targeted”.

“Not simple provocations”

According to the Management, these are not simple provocations but public intimidation and attacks which will have a judicial follow-up. The authors of the disseminated material will be called to answer before the criminal justice authorities.

“We are on the side of women, with them and alongside them,” reads the note released by the hospital, which announces that it has already taken steps to shed full light on the incident.

Defense of dignity

L’Annunziata reiterates the choice of respect and legality, underlining that any form of sexist violence, physical or symbolic, is incompatible with the values ​​of a public institution and with the very mission of a place of care.

The episode caused dismay within the healthcare facility, where the commitment to protecting the dignity of workers and all employees was reaffirmed.
