Surprised while giving a dose of hashish to a young buyer in the historic center of Crotone. For this reason, a 23-year-old from Crotone, already known to the police, was arrested by the State Police for possession of narcotic substances for the purposes of dealing.

At the sight of the Flying Office agents, the young man attempted to get rid of a block of hashish weighing approximately 90 grams, throwing it into the entrance hall of a building. The gesture was of no avail: the police stopped him and subjected him to a personal search, finding him in possession of further elements attributable to the drug dealing activity.

The man was accompanied to the police station for the formalities and made available to the judicial authorities. During the same activity, the officers found in an abandoned farmhouse in the historic center a block of cocaine weighing 147 grams and two blocks of hashish for a total of 201 grams, ready to be divided into doses.

Overall, during the checks, 339 people were identified, 155 vehicles were checked, eight house searches were carried out and a 22-year-old young man found in possession of 10 grams of hashish intended for personal use was reported to the Prefect.
