Definitely a busy holiday for Hossam Hassan, Egypt’s technical commissioner. According to reports from “Sky News Arabia”, the coach was in a resort in Marina El Alamein, in the north of the country, together with his current wife Dan Adam, when a chance meeting with his ex-partner Huwayda gave rise to a violent argument.
The woman was accompanied by her children and, after an initial verbal confrontation, the discussion between the two quickly degenerated. From words we would have moved on to punches, kicks and jerks, transforming what was supposed to be a relaxing day into an excited scene.
Hassan intervened in an attempt to separate the two women and restore calm, but during those moments he apparently felt ill, to the point of losing consciousness. The Egyptian coach was then transported to hospital for further investigations.
His condition, however, would not cause concern. After the episode, the two women would finally apologize for what happened.
