The governor hunting for the bis Roberto Occhiuto wins in Calabria with 57% and the center -left opponent Pasquale Tridico stops at 16 points of detachment, reaching 41%. An important difference, considering the turnout to 43% and an abstention that again does not reflect the indignation of the squares. A figure that still photographs, as already in the Marche, the insufficient attractiveness of the wide field. Instead, the choice of the candidate of the center -right Occhiuto, burdened by a warranty notice, of resigning and re -regulating to not be worn out by the accusation of corruption.
A tide of moderate votes supports Roberto Occhiuto’s sprint: “60-65% of those collected by him come from this area”, calculates the polls Antonio Noto at the end of the evening. Certainly the great winner is Forza Italia who, with about 17.98%, not only does not be exceeded by Fdi but also gets something more than 2021. The second list of the coalition is that of the president with 12.39%, followed by the Melonians – “only” thirds with 11.64% – and by the League that consolidates at 9.4%. The data define a picture that clearly rewards the center, driving the blue project to strengthen and expand this slice of the center -right. While the final turnout at 43.14% is the lowest ever in the region.
To be weighed the result of Fratelli d’Italia, which on the one hand is growing compared to 8.7% of the regional 2021, but compared to 20.57% of the last European ones are almost half. The Northern League, on the other hand, go better than the last regional ones when they were 8.33%, more or less in line with the European Championships. Moderates (4.03%) and, on the opposite front, reformist-IV house, at 4.42%are also good among the centrists: both parties could express regional councilors. In the center -left they do not take off, however, neither the Democratic Party (13.59%), nor the M5S (6.43%) which remain more or less on the data of four years ago, when however to drain 16%of the votes for the common candidate there was Luigi de Magistris.
