The great melodies of classical opera resonated last Friday evening at the Palazzo della Cultura in Pizzo.
The protagonists were the piano duo formed by Daniele Paolillo and Elena Piserà, both from Pizzi, who offered the public the interpretation of very famous musical pages, from “Gazza ladra” to Rossini’s “Barbiere di Siviglia”, from Bizet’s “Carmen” to Verdi’s “Traviata”: a passionate journey to the rediscovery of opera arias and overtures which constitute an artistic and musical heritage of extraordinary value.

The musical event, sponsored by the Municipality, with the presence of the Councilor for Culture, Maria Teresa De Fina and the Councilor for Heritage, Franco Procopio, had an excellent response from the public, despite the rainy day. The two young people involved and excited those present in the room and, at the end of the event, offered an encore, sealed by the final standing ovation.

Daniele Paolillo, winner of numerous first prizes in piano competitions, has important concerts under his belt in Italy and abroad and is currently a piano teacher at the Conservatory.
