Tomorrow, Thursday 10 April, you think, the event sponsored by the Municipality of Vibo Valentia dedicated to science and dissemination that will take place within three days at the Valentianum complex in Vibo, in Piazza San Leoluca.
From 10 to 12 April, every day from 10:00 until late afternoon, visitors will be able to know many exhibitors, visit exhibitions and participate in activities close to the world of scientific knowledge and promoted by realities engaged in the discovery and promotion of the Calabrian territory.
In addition to the exhibition itinerary, several talk are scheduled, which will take place in the auditorium over the three days and which will be dedicated, in the morning band to schools, while in the afternoon to all visitors.
Cosmo fans will be able to meet the popularizer Pasquale D’Anna, founder of the “Passione Astronomy” community, on the afternoon of Thursday 10 April, at 18:00, during a conference dedicated precisely to the study of space.
On Friday, at 18:00, Alessio Ciaffi will speak, paleontologist and popularizer on the web, with a dedicated conference dedicated to de-extinction, or the science that promises to bring the extinct animals back to life and that deserves to be analyzed rationally, dodging all objectives all too science fiction and questionable marketing moves.
On Saturday morning at 11:00 there is also a talk dedicated to the Cetacean of the Ionian Calabrian Sea, with the intervention of Maria Assunta Menniti, a marine biologist and founder of Cesram, the Marine Environment Study and Research Center.
At 17:00 Lorenza Polistena, ethologist and popularizer, will then speak, who will speak to the public of pets and the behavior that seem to adopt in viral videos spread on social media.
Also on Saturday, at 12:00 and then at 18:00, two interventions by Anna Giamborino are scheduled, a geologist of Vibonese origins and president of the Italian Paleontological and Paleohaleistic Association, dedicated respectively to paleoarte, or the science of the reconstruction of prehistoric animals, and to the figure of Mary Anning, one of the first paleontologists, considered today one of the most influential female figures in the world of science.
Several activities for the little ones also scheduled every day, such as the LEGO BRICKLAB Laboratory, which provides for the construction of dinosaurs, spaceships and any other subject useful to stimulate the imagination of the little ones with the use of the famous colored bricks.
