Tension this afternoon in Contrada Fiumara: a family dispute requested the intervention of the carabinieri and medical staff. A man was injured and was urgently transported to the hospital, but his condition would not be serious. The alarm went off around 3 pm, after the residents heard cries coming from a house. The carabinieri, led by Marshal Antonio Florullithey arrived on the spot for investigations.
The dispute, according to what emerged, would have occurred between a man and the daughter of the partner, probably because of family problems. The man would therefore have produced self -injurious gestures, with a knife, making medical intervention necessary. The Carabinieri of Piraino and the Compagnia di Patti are carrying out investigations to clarify the incident and ascertain any responsibilities.
Not yet, legal actions have been taken, but caution is being carried out to protect vulnerable people.
