The Christmas event program promoted by the municipal administration of Catanzaro, “Finally Christmas”, will also enliven the funicular station in Piazza Roma, a place suspended between past and present which also becomes a container for cultural and entertainment moments. As part of the initiatives dedicated to families and coordinated by the councilor for economic activities, Giuliana Furreron Sunday 22 December the waiting room of the station will host, from 10am to 1pm, the nativity scene workshop with children and adults curated by the teacher Giuseppe Tripodi who will share with the little ones the experience already gained, in the particular nativity scene art, with the ministerial community for minors. In the afternoon, at 5pm, the photographic exhibition “3V” will be inaugurated – which will remain open until 6 January -, a selection of shots of the city seen through the gaze of Anna Maria Nanci, Gianluca Posella, Gianluca Bellacoscia, Ennio Procopio, Pasquale Gagliano, Alessandro Testa, Gianluca Folino, Pino Simone, Valerio Gareri.
On Monday 23 December, at 4.30 pm, we will continue with the children’s workshop on creative writing. Again on Friday 27 December, from 10am to 1pm, a yoga space dedicated above all to children, but also to parents and adults who want to participate, curated by Stella d’Agostino. Initiatives that contribute to bringing the funicular space to life – while waiting for the transport service to be operational again after the necessary maintenance – and to creating a festive atmosphere throughout the Piazza Roma area.
