Fire destroys a warehouse between Casalvecchio and Antillo. Probable a short circuit

A fire that broke out during the night destroyed a warehouse in municipality of Casalvecchio Siculo, on the border with Antillo. The flames broke out around 5 in the Piano Vigne area, perhaps triggered by a short circuit, and sent a vehicle, agricultural machinery and equipment inside the structure up in smoke, where some explosions also occurred, probably because the fire has damaged gas cylinders or compressors. A motorist in transit on the provincial road leading to Antillo raised the alarm, who noticed a column of smoke and heard explosions. Fortunately, no one was injured. To put out the fire, a tanker from the Municipality of Antillo arrived, sent by the mayor Davide Paratore, and the firefighters from the Letojanni Detachment, who completely put out the fire.
