Fire on a truck along the A2: the firefighters intervene, traffic blocked in San Mango d’Aquino

A team of the command of Cosenza firefighters is currently engaged in an intervention in the municipality of San Mango d’Aquinoalong the A2 A2 of the Mediterranean, for a fire that involved a truck in transit on the south lane, at kilometer 294. The flames have only affected the trailer of the heavy vehicle, while the driver was promptly detached and safety, avoiding further damage or consequences. To allow the shutdown and safety operations of the area, the south lane is temporarily closed to traffic at the section concerned. The police and the Anas staff for the management of the road network are also present on the scene.
