Lando Norris takes an important step towards the world title. The McLaren driver, after pole and sprint, also achieved success in the 2025 Brazilian Grand Prix Formula 1 race. Second place for a solid Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes), capable of keeping even the Red Bull of an immense Max Verstappen behind, who was the protagonist of an exceptional comeback starting from the pit lane. George Russell finishes at the foot of the podium, but takes home valuable points for Mercedes with a view to second place in the constructors’ championship. Oscar Piastri, penalized 10″, has to settle for fifth position, losing further ground to his teammate, now at -24.
Very heavy zero, however, for Ferrari: Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, in fact, are both forced to retire and this hasn’t happened in Brazil since 2002. The top 10 of the day are completed by Oliver Bearman (Haas), Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls), Isack Hadjar (Racing Bulls), Nico Hulkenberg (Kick Sauber) and Pierre Gasly (Alpine).
