The Volleyball club “Franco Tigano” Palmi has taken over the men's Serie A2 title from the Lupi Santa Croce association. After the two well-deserved successes in the Italian Cup and the Serie A3 Super Cup, Franco Tigano believed it had all the credentials to be able to compete in a higher category championship, a championship which will see Palmi involved for the first time in the second national men's category.
“We would like to thank the Lupi Santa Croce club – we read in a note from the club – for having believed in us and for having wanted to start a collaboration project which we hope will bring excellent results in the future. The men's Serie A2 will therefore arrive for the first time in history in Palmi, which as already demonstrated in this and past seasons, will certainly participate with enthusiasm and passion. In the next few days we will present the plans for the 2024-2025 sports season. Our Calabria, our City, our supers. fans and the whole territory deserve a stage like this! Forza Palmi!”
