The Trump administration will send the new batteries of Patriot missiles to Kiev per day, but in the future – according to the media – they could follow deliveries of Tomahawk and ATACMS missiles: The former are able to hit Moscow too, the latter have a minor range but can easily destroy the Russian military bases in the heart of the country.

* I Tomahawk – They were also used by the Pentagon to hit Iranian nuclear sites. These are long -range subsonic cruise missiles, used ninth by the United States but also from other countries. They are known for their precision and ability to hit objectives at a great distance. Tomahawk missiles were employed in different conflicts, including the Gulf War and the operations in Iraq and Syria. They can affect objectives at distances that exceed 2,500 kilometers in the most recent versions. They use advanced navigation systems, such as Tercom (Terrain Contour Matching) and GPS, for precision guide. They can be launched by ships, submarines and, in the past, also by earth locations.

* ATACMS – Their name is the acronym for Army Tactical Missile System. They are ballistic missiles tactical medium-haul surfaces-ray with solid fuel, about four meters long and produced by the American Lockheed Martin. They can reach a speed of Mach 3 (three times the speed of the sound) for a maximum range (depending on the models) of about 300 km. They are normally used by a Mobile Himars Multiple Elcker. The Atacms were designed in the 80s and officially entered operation during the First Gulf War of 1991.

* I Patriot (Mim -104 Patriot) – It is a long-range surface-air missile-air system, developed in the United States and used for air and anti-missile tactical defense. It is the main system of this type unfolded by the United States and other countries of the western world. It has orientable, non-vertical launchers, for missile missiles missiles, that is, the missiles are guided with a mixture of “phase array” radar impulses. The Patriots became famous for the defense against the SS-1 scud missiles launched by Iraq against Israel during the Gulf War of 1991 and are still used by Israel.
