Hind Rajab, the six-year-old Palestinian girl missing after the family’s car was hit in Gaza, resulting in the killing of her family, has been found dead, as declared by the Ministry of Health run by Hamas and its relatives, who accuse Israel of killing her. The little girl survived the attack and she called for help but there has been no news since.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, two doctors sent to look for the little girl were killed by Israeli forces. The last time Hind Rajab was seen was about two weeks ago, when she was trapped in a car with her dead relatives as they tried to flee Gaza City as Israeli forces advanced. “Hind and everyone else in the car were martyred,” the little girl’s grandfather, Baha Hamada, told AFP.
Some family members made the discovery when they went to the Tel al-Hawa area of Gaza City looking for the car near a petrol station where it was last spotted, he said. “They were able to reach the area because the Israeli forces withdrew at dawn today,” Hamada added.
The Hamas-run Gaza Strip’s health ministry confirmed Hind’s death. “She was killed by the (Israeli) occupation forces together with everyone who was with her in the car outside the Tel al-Hawa gas station,” the ministry said in a statement.
