The death toll in the Gaza Strip is worsening. A new wave of Israeli airstrikes caused at least 45 dead, according to reports from Mahmud Bassal, spokesperson forcivil protection agency, which operates under the authority of Hamas.
The data was also confirmed by four hospitals in the area, which welcomed the bodies and numerous wounded from various points hit in the Strip. The previous toll spoke of 33 victims.
The attacks hit multiple areas of the territory, but at the moment it is not clear whether civilians were also among the victims. The picture remains uncertain and constantly evolving, while there is fear of a further worsening of the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian enclave.
