The Court of Appeal of Naples by pronouncing on the cancellation with postponement ordered by the Court of Cassation sentenced Marco Petrini to the sentence of 4 years of imprisonmentformer Section President of the Court of Appeal of Catanzaro, and has I inflict a sentence of 2 years and 11 months imprisonment to Emilio Santoro, a retired doctor. The judges also redetermined the value of the confiscation against Petrini (defended by the lawyer Francesco Calderaro) and Santoro (assisted by the lawyer Michele Gigliotti) for the intervening sentence on the basis of the profit of the crimes.
The Court ordered the confiscation of 311 thousand euros for the two defendants and 250 thousand euros for the third accused Francesco Saraco (already sentenced to one year and eight months) up to the amounts of the amounts of the sums found in cash and currently in seizure. The new appeal process had been decided by the Court of Cassation which had redeveloped the head of accusation from corruption in corruption judicial documents for the exercise of the function.
