More than three years after the death of Ettore Giordano, the investigations into the case are reopened. The Cosenza Prosecutor’s Office has entrusted consultant Luca Chianelli with the technical investigations requested by prosecutor Marialuigia D’Andrea and authorized by investigating judge Letizia Benigno, as part of the investigation into the death of the 42-year-old found lifeless on 9 June 2022 in Montalto Uffugo. He was found hanged, with an electric extension cord fixed to a porthole in his partner’s home. According to what we learn, consultant Chianelli returned to the site of the tragedy to carry out surveys inside and outside the house, in the Taverna hamlet. A dramatic news case, initially archived as a suicide, but reopened at the request of the victim’s parents, who have always contested this hypothesis and entrusted the defense investigations to the lawyers Emilio Greco and Guido Siciliano, together with their colleagues Franceschina Bufano, Mafalda Ferraro and Edoardo Greco.
