The hypothesis of an autonomous accident does not entirely convince the family of Giuseppe Ingemi, the 55-year-old motorcyclist who lost his life in the tragic crash that occurred on Monday evening near the Neptune fountain. With his motorbike, a Harley Davidson Sportster model ended up against a light pole in the house that houses the Neptune fountain. A very violent impact that left him no escape.
According to what emerged from the initial investigations by the municipal police, who are reconstructing the dynamics of the tragic accident, it was an independent accident. For the man’s family, shocked by a tragedy that suddenly struck, something would not add up. For this reason they decided to launch an appeal to those who were in the area that evening. They turned to the Cacia Bisignano law firm to understand any third-party liability and decided to launch an appeal to those who witnessed the accident.

«If anyone – ask the lawyers Cristina Bisignano and Nino Cacia – is able to report useful circumstances to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident which led to the death of Mr. Giuseppe Ingemi, go without delay to the Municipal Police Headquarters of the city of Messina to report any details. And indeed, the position of the vehicle and of the unfortunate victim after the collision together with the signs imprinted in the road surface appear – at present – logically incompatible with the fact that the victim was an expert and long-time motorcyclist. Hence the family’s doubts and the consequent appeal.” Meanwhile, the body of deputy prosecutor Anita Siliotti remains seizedwhile waiting for all the investigations by the municipal police to be completed, has not yet released the reservation to decide whether or not to carry out the autopsy examination. The body therefore remains in the mortuary of the Polyclinic waiting to be returned to the family for the funeral. The accident occurred on Monday evening on the stretch that leads from Viale della Libertà to Via Garibaldi. According to initial investigations, Ingemi was coming on that road on his motorbike. Suddenly the loss of control, perhaps an attempt to brake and the crash into one of the public lighting poles located on the platform next to the Neptune fountain. Fatal moments that left Ingemi no escape as he ended up on the ground next to the motorbike. Meanwhile, the Accident Section of the municipal police is completing all investigations into the accident which occurred in an area monitored by several cameras. The frames could clarify the trajectory followed by the motorcycle and the phases of the accident. Ingemi worked in the canteen service of the Papardo hospital and leaves behind a daughter.
