Great participation on Saturday evening in Vibo Valentia at Save the Date in the historic city center for the presentation of the book “Oltre il Limite” by Antonio Barbieri, an event which saw the presence of hundreds of people, deeply involved in the author’s human and intense story.
During the evening there were numerous recognitions and certificates of esteem addressed to Antonio Barbieri, who through the writing of his book chose to tell the story of a life marked by difficulties and sacrifices, transforming it however into a powerful message of courage, resilience and hope.

“Beyond the Limit” is not just an autobiographical story, but a concrete invitation to fight against silence and indifference, with the aim of raising public awareness of the importance of solidarity and support for scientific research. Part of the proceeds from the book, in fact, will be donated to the NeMO Clinical Center Foundation in Rome, involved in research on neuromuscular diseases.
Among the most appreciated speeches of the evening was also that of Dr. Giulia Bisogni, connected remotely, a neurologist specializing in neuromuscular pathologies and motor neuron diseases, who wanted to bring her own contribution and testimony, underlining the social and human value of the initiative and reiterating the fundamental importance of the research.
The event, brilliantly moderated by Notary Armanda Ilaria Miceli, represented an important moment of sharing and reflection, capable of uniting professionals, friends and citizens around an authentic message of strength, humanity and solidarity.
An intense and emotional evening which confirmed how Antonio Barbieri’s story manages to reach people’s hearts, transforming pain into an example and fragility into an extraordinary testimony of life.
Also particularly significant was the intervention of the lawyer Laura Moschella, who invited parents not to remain still and silent in the face of critical moments involving their children, underlining the importance of presence, listening and family support from the relevant bodies.
There was no shortage of emotional testimony from his son Domenico, Karol and Noemi, together with his cousins and the whole family, who shared memories and deep feelings linked to Antonio’s life.
The evening was introduced by the lawyer Giusi Fanelli, who with simplicity and authenticity managed to convey the feelings experienced and which still accompany Antonio’s life today, emotions that belong to the history of each of us. A strong message, aimed at everyone, to never lose the values of love, solidarity and affection.
The atmosphere of the evening was made even more engaging thanks to the Sax teacher Marianna Polito who also involved the audience in a participatory way.
Finally, special thanks go to the photographer Giuseppe Morello, who with great sensitivity managed to capture moments of intense and authentic emotion throughout the evening.
