“I am really satisfied with the recognition of the 21 green flags assigned to Calabria in 2025. A result that confirms the primacy of the region for the thirteenth consecutive year. This recognition, attributed by over 3,000 Italian and foreign pediatricians, identifies the safer and more equipped bathing locations for children, helping to promote a Calabria increasingly attentive to the environmental quality and the safety of families”.

Calabrian also underlined the importance of this result in the context of a wider commitment in the Calabria Region for the revitalization of tourism and the decreased.
“Recently – specifically – we have approved an act of address that extends the seaside season 2025 from 1 May to 31 October, with the aim of promoting the use of the sea throughout the year and supporting coastal accommodation facilities. Furthermore, the junta is evaluating the introduction of a green sticker for tourist structures that respect high standards of quality and safety. This further step aims to consolidate Calabria as a tourist destination for excellence for excellence for families”.
