“We are tackling a long-standing problem with a work of absolute utility, fundamental for the development of the country, and I am pleased that unanimous approval has arrived.” Great satisfaction from the mayor of Sant’Alessio Siculo, Domenico Aliberti, after the green light received from the city council for the purchase of the land in the center of the town for the construction of a public car park. The chamber, with seven favorable votes from those present (Chiara Briguglio in the majority and Cristina Triolo in the minority absent), approved the resolution which provides for the activation of a mortgage and the integration of the Single Planning Document 2025-2027 to take possession of a 960 m2 plot of land, a 226 m2 building and another small 19 m2 structure, for a total surface area of approximately 1,200 m2, located on via Consolare Valeria (state road 114), in front of Villa Genovesi.
