The policemen from Polistena, Cittanova and Taurianova intervened near a bar in Taurianova, following the report received from a woman who reported that she was being followed by her ex-husband, a 51-year-old from Cittanova, despite the latter being the recipient of the precautionary measure.
The timely intervention of the officers made it possible to intercept and block the man a short distance from the victim who, visibly shaken, reported that she had been followed by her ex-spouse in his car, from Cittanova to Taurianova.
The judicial authority, following the validation hearing, ordered the 51-year-old, already burdened by police prejudice, to be placed in precautionary custody in prison.
